Revenue Business Analyst- Job Overview

As a Revenue Cycle Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and supporting end-to-end revenue cycle operations for US healthcare clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Coding, and Operations, to translate business needs into actionable insights and scalable solutions. With strong expertise in US RCM processes, you will drive data-backed decision-making, improve financial performance, and enhance operational efficiency across the revenue cycle. 

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze end-to-end revenue cycle workflows, including charge capture, coding alignment, billing, claims processing, AR follow-ups, and denial management.
\n
• Gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications and process improvements.
\n
• Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to implement and enhance RCM tools, automation, and AI-driven solutions.
\n
• Monitor key performance metrics such as AR days, denial rates, clean claim rates, and collections to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
\n
• Perform root cause analysis on denials, underpayments, and revenue leakage, and recommend corrective actions.
\n
• Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to provide actionable insights to stakeholders and clients.
\n
• Collaborate with clients to understand their RCM challenges and recommend data-driven strategies for optimization.
\n
• Ensure compliance with US healthcare regulations, payer guidelines, and coding standards (ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS).
\n
• Support process standardization, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives across accounts.
\n
• Act as a bridge between business, operations, and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions.

Qualification: 

\n
• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in US healthcare Revenue Cycle Management.
\n
• Strong understanding of end-to-end RCM processes and workflows.
\n
• Hands-on experience with data analysis, reporting tools, and RCM platforms.
\n
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) is preferred.
\n
• Experience working with US payer systems, reimbursement models, and compliance requirements.
\n
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
\n
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
\n
• Experience working in healthcare technology or AI-driven environments is a plus.
\n
